present: LB, CD, DFOT, PM, UH, PB, CV (recorder) 0) previous Minutes - change 23Na(p,g)25Mg to 23Na(p,g)24Mg 1) Hardware Mitutoyo: DFOT - modification is harder than it looked, but a precision of ~1/10 mm can be achieved if the scales aren't touched. Finishing should have high priority. PM: was contacted by Anne Trudel concerning safety interlock system at DRAGON. HV power supply racks can be moved to gain access to the beamline. PM will secure the racks and a wall near the gas target. PM: work bench and drilling machine will be moved from the trailers to the DRAGON platform. 2) CR list of action items CR prepared a list of action items for the next few weeks (see attachment). Last 23Na run wil be analyzed by CV and LE, however due to system upgrades dragonroot doesn't compile any more and no off-line analysis is possible at the moment. Konstantin will be contacted by CR and CV. LE wrote a nice viewer ("carpere") which gives more flexibility in greating nice graphs than roody. Some discussion about the DRAGON area clean up. DFOT wants to keep old but still useful parts (like the various DSSSD mountings for the alpha tests) in the Proton hall. There will be more cabinetts for storage and to enclose the DRAGON area. CR wants to have only one entrance, but LB mentioned that tours will be more complicated then. UH will work on the alpha acceptance studies with the solar cell detector (together with CR). No stable beam time is expected for this fall due to the Nanogam instalation at OLIS and accelerated beams to TUDA and TIGRESS in October and November. Short discussion about the proposals to be resubmitted for the EEC. LB and CR will prepare priotity lists and summaries, similar to the exercise in 2004. JDA will be contacted for the files from 2004. 3) AOB CV: 40Ca(a,g)44Ti paper now published in PRC (see DRAGON web page), Chris O. defended successfully his thesis (also on 40Ca(a,g)44Ti) last Friday at McMaster.
