Hardware
IC:
 * a new 0.5um window was glued
 * currently, a 0.9um window is installed
 * Robert Openshaw noticed that the flow rate back to the gas shack is 50% higher than the flow from the shack to the IC, no leak was found
 * alpha-tests: the signals from the alphas are very low, the signal in the first anode was too low to use for timing, so the signal from the third anode was used, 
    we will have to wait for beam to adjust the gains
MCP:
 * CR glued a grid on 2 extra foil holders
Ge:
 * a HPGe was installed next to the mass slit box
 * the gain on this Ge appears to be lower than previously (summer), maybe this is a different detector
 * plan: vent chamber, mount source on slit
Ion pump:
 * PM will vent ED2 and clean the pump this week
BGO:
 * problem with CFD #18 fixed itself, see elog

Software
epics:
 * Rod Nussbaumer is working on implementing the attenuator and the Mitutoyo
 * some additional wiring and connectors are needed, DO is working on it

preparation for beam time 
 * Luke will arrive end of next week
 * Christof will be here 14.-30.11.
 * Luke and Christof will prepare a run plan
