- IRIS was deemed useful, so it'll stay in (for now ?)
- DFOT to replace a linear slide, including meachanical stops to limit motion
and a counter to register turns.
- JDA asked whether IRIS can be removed and replaced with a blank.  DFOT will
look into it

REPORT from 989

* AP summarizes October run  (attached)
   - JDA would like to see an estimate of Mg resonance strength as a check
   - highlights weird drop in gamma rate  (attached)
     >  correleated with separator and preseparator
     > CR states that Pierre thought it must be the triplet
   - gain shifted when DSSSD when cooled to -10C    not sure why.
   - showed result of triggering with TRILIS pulse (attached)
   - showed yield from 201 keV/u run based only on DRAGON tof
   - off resonance at 225.7, see nothing
   
* JDA asked how good resonance energy was measured: DH answered 1-2 KeV

* goal now : PRL  
   -  discussion about what to do with summer run. DH commented that present
run 'worth' 5X the summer run in terms of confidence

  -  yield looks larger below big resonance peak compared to above, contrary
to published data
