Minutes FEBIAD: 19Ne Yield almost sufficient for DRAGON measurement. 1. Hardware PM: ED1 kept on 170 kV to not lose the conditioning. CR: LTNO Iris worked nice but is contaminated, so we can not use it. 2. Quad Alignment studies (MJ) First mode ok but no common zero for 2nd mode can be found Then used method 2 (all modes), getting an image of B(z) ---> 2 attachments Question is: How precicely is this method and what precision is needed. Could be tested with feeding results back into sim. A hall probe is needed to check the results. 3. Raytrace Mods (AG) ---> attachment With Q1 5% off, end focus is off as well. Will now go back to Gd source tests. 4. There have been more comments, 40Ca paper not out yet. 5. A.O.B UG: FEBIAD: 7*10^6 Ne-19 (70 uA protons), Mg-23 may have Na-23 contaminant. TUDA run: We need to go back to MgO targets. SiC targets are bad. Chris will now attend the beam development meetings. Meeting ends 15:45
