        Beam is delayed as the ISAC target is leaking again at the high voltage feedthrough.  
Not known when beam will be available.

        The TUDA run was expected to locate states but due to cross sections lower than 
expected, failed to see much.

       When beam is available, 21Ne will be pilot beam to set up the separator, then 21Na.

Joel Rogers--  Elastics 

       There is now a pulse shape discrimination circuit to help get rid of noise in the 
elastics.  It works with the timing difference between a leading edge discriminator and a 
constant fraction discriminator.  It has been tested with a pulser only, not with beam.  The 
circuit involves 2 amplifiers which have to be changed every time the beam energy is 
changed.  There is also a hardware prescaler (a red TRIUMF made red unit).  The setting 
on this prescaler needs to be logged  (2EO to 2E7) for each run, NC is to add to run log.

Mike Trinczek        --GEANT   

         There are now results comparing the standard tune versus the new broad tune as 
well as the old pumping tubes versus the new pumping tubes.  The next step is to add 
experimental data to the curves.

        JDA presented a practice run for the DRAGON facility talk for the Dec EEC.
        Also a practice talk for the proposal to use the TR13 to produce 15O and use a 200 
m transfer line to OLIS.
